In 2019, Hangana delivered 20 beautiful new school benches ordered from and crafted by Kraatz to Okanguati Combined School (who were in desperate need of chairs/desks). The school is located 110km west of Opuwo in the Kunene Region and has 510 learners (ranging from grade 0 – 10), 20 Teachers and 3 cleaners as well as 15 institutional workers at the hostel side. The learners are mainly from the marginalized societies of Ovadhemba, Ovatua, Ovahimba and others and most parents cannot afford to contribute significantly to school projects.
